A complete lead standing weight of uncertain date. The weight is roughly pyramidal in shape, becoming slightly wider towards the flat base. There is a small integral suspension loop at the apex. The base has two small triangular indentations in its centre. The surface of the metal is corroded. Because of the undiagnostic (and often home made) nature of weights like this one, only a broad Roman to post-medieval date range can be suggested. Length: 25.59mm, width of base: 16.43mm, thickness of base: 14.09mm, weight: 29.39g
