A complete lead standing weight of uncertain date. The weight is roughly pyramidal in shape, becoming slightly wider towards the flat base. There is a small integral suspension loop at the apex. The base has two small triangular indentations in its centre. The surface of the metal is corroded.
Because of the undiagnostic (and often home made) nature of weights like this one, only a broad Roman to post-medieval date range can be suggested.

An incomplete copper-alloy Iron Age or Roman bow brooch. Only the upper part of the brooch survives. The head is cylindrical and the outer face of each outer end is decorated with three parallel, transverse grooves. In the centre of its reverse there is a transverse slot containing the in situ remains of the copper-alloy pin, its spring visible through the hole. There is damage to both ends and the reverse of the head. The bow is D-shaped in cross-section with a rounded upper end projecting outwards at a right-angle from the head. The head would have been semi-cylindrical in shape originally with a rounded outer face and concave reverse where the missing pin fitting would have been secured, although both wings are largely missing and only the central part of this now survives. The stub of a rear-facing hook projects from the centre of the upper edge of the head.
