An incomplete copper-alloy Roman brooch of Colchester-derivative with double pierced lug. It is missing its pin and foot due to old breaks. The wings are semi-cylindrical in form, undecorated but faceted on their front faces, and separated by an integrally cast double pierced lug. This holds in place a copper-alloy spring and spring chord, of whcih 8 coils survive missing the pin due to old breaks. It has a conical head that measures 18.55mm in diameter with a concave upper surface and central conical projection that has a flattened head and possible central indentation.
