The object consists of a rectangular cross sectioned curved bow which is missing its lower half and is decorated with a raised circle containing a raised cross motif. This merges into rectangular shaped, stepped solid wings which house a hinged pin, now incomplete.

Roman copper alloy figurine fragment, 32mm long, 21mm wide and 18mm thick with a weight of 36.44g. The fragment consists of a male bust with curled hair wearing a phrygian cap. The cap is sub conical and is heavily gilded in patches. There is a slight depression in its upper surface which may suggest an iron loop and its use as a suspended weight? or it may be evidence for its casting? Roman copper alloy Hod Hill, without side lugs brooch, 23mm long, 13mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 1.51g. The brooch is incomplete, representing the upper half of the brooch and is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It has an inverted triangular upper section with a central rectangular recess in its upper edge to house the now missing pin. Below it widens out to form 'shoulders' and then gently tapers in width and curves, with three slight linear recesses at decoration. It is missing its foot and catch plate.

AC Late Iron Age to early Roman copper alloy Langton Down brooch, AD 25 -60. The brooch has a circular cross sectioned hollow 'head plate' which houses a spring of four coils and a partial pin. The bow is rectangular in form and cross section and is flat and missing its base. It is decorated with a series of ridges. Its reverse houses the scars of an open catch-plate which take up half of the bows length. It is 41mm long, 17mm wide and 10mm thick with a weight of 4.13g.

It has narrow rectangular shaped and cross sectioned wings which house a hinged pin recess (pin now missing) and sit behind a rectangular cross sectioned bow. This has a raised circular motif at its shoulder just above a sharp turn in the bow, which is missing its base.

Roman copper alloy Colchester derivative, hinged brooch, 30mm long, 24mm wide and weighing 9.94g. The broch comprises solid circular cross sectioned wings which have a central recess with a bar for the hinged pin, now mostly missing. Each wing terminal has three linear indentations forming a border and a hollow recess in its end. The bow is circular in cross section and tapers to a point. It has traces of decoration on its shoulder of two intersecting linear grooves, now very faint. The bow also has a rounded projection near its present edge.

Unclear reverse type possibly depicting a standing figure? Probably mint of Rome. The coin has been pierced, with a circular hole close to the edge of the flan above the bust when viewed from the obverse. Record via e-mail, not seen in person.
