Roman copper alloy brooch foot, 25mm long, 7mm wide and 5mm thick with a weight of 1.71g. The foot consists of a sub triangular catch plate with a slight turn on its outer edge. This is attached to the base of a bow that is sub-triangular in cross section, having a flat reverse and a prominent central ridge running down its front.

The object consists of a thick loop which is decorated with a series of sub triangular transverse ridges , three of which (at cardinal points) are decorated with an incised transverse line, each side of its ridge.
The object may be a male finger ring. It was found in a concentration of Roman material whose make up suggests a newly discovered temple site.

Roman ? silver gilt ring fragment, 11mm long, 8mm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 1.24g.
The object comprises about half the bezel of a signet type ring. It is triangular in form and D shaped in cross section. Its wide broken end has a curved recess to take an intaglio and the upper surface is decorated on each edge with a wide concave band which is gilded and inside this is a narrow incised line. These converge as the object narrows to its loop. This is probably matches by a similar one around the edge of the bezel. The object is very worn.

The fragment consists of a male bust with curled hair wearing a phrygian cap. The cap is sub conical and is heavily gilded in patches. There is a slight depression in its upper surface which may suggest an iron loop and its use as a suspended weight? or it may be evidence for its casting? The face is quite worn but is rounded with a flattish nose and almond eyes. The object is broken across the upper neck with an uneven underside.

Roman copper alloy 'bow and fantail' bow brooch, 29mm long, 14mm wide and 12mm thick with a weight of 5.50g.
The brooch is rather crudely made and has circular cross sectioned, solid short wings which would have housed a hinged pin, now missing. The bow has a rectangular cross sectioned curved shaft which widens out into a flat triangular plate. This has a plain raised border surrounding a triangular recess. This is filled with a single central raised triangle, creating three triangular recesses which probably held enamel. The reverse of this has a small sub triangular catch plate.

AC Late Iron Age to early Roman copper alloy Langton Down brooch, AD 25 -60.
The brooch has a circular cross sectioned hollow 'head plate' which houses a spring of four coils and a partial pin. The bow is rectangular in form and cross section and is flat and missing its base. It is decorated with a series of ridges. Its reverse houses the scars of an open catch-plate which take up half of the bows length.
It is 41mm long, 17mm wide and 10mm thick with a weight of 4.13g.

It has narrow rectangular shaped and cross sectioned wings which house a hinged pin recess (pin now missing) and sit behind a rectangular cross sectioned bow. This has a raised circular motif at its shoulder just above a sharp turn in the bow, which is missing its base.

Possible Roman ceramic oil lamp c. 90mm long. The lamp is circular in form and sub circular in cross section. It has a small sub- triangular shaped spout like projection at one side with a circular hole in its upper surface and on the opposite side is a solid semi-circular handle. Roman copper alloy plate brooch, 24mm long, 8mm wide and 6mm thick with a weight of 1.51g.
The brooch consists of a rectangular shaped and cross sectioned plate which has a raised border. Inside are two raised diagonal lines running from bottom left corner to upper centre and upper right corner to lower centre (as shown). Inside the area created is a field of blue enamel surrounding a small raised circle c.3mm in diameter. The reverse houses a sub rectangular catchplate at one end and a pin attachment formed of a double semi-circular lug at the opposite end.
