Roman copper alloy finger ring, 21mm long, 17mm wide and weighing 3.42g. The ring is incomplete, missing part of its hoop, but has a D shaped cross sectioned plain hoop and an oval shaped, rectangular cross sectioned bezel. The bezel has four semi-circular cell walls whose ends join the outer raised edge, forming a sub rectangular central area. Two of the cells are filled with red enamel and two are solid with with diagonal incised lines running across their surface (one is corroded so this isn't clear), The remaining central 'lozenge' shaped central area is fiilled white enamel.…
