Roman copper alloy plate brooch, 20mm long, 19mm wide and 6 mm thick with a weight of 2.40g. The brooch is sub rectangular in form and cross section. It consists of a plate formed of four raised circlar cells with a raised circle in their centre. These join and enclose a central recessed rectangular cell which has a raised dot in its centre. Two of the oppsing cells are filled with blue enamel. There is no trace of enaeml in the other two. The reverse has a semi-circular plate with a circular hole to fix the pin, now missing, and a sub triangular catchplate.

Roman copper alloy finger ring, 25mm in diameter, 14mm wide , 6mm thick and weighing 8.16g. The ring is complete and has a raised circular bezel sitting on plain triangular shaped shoulders, which taper into a semi-circular cross sectioned loop. The bezel has very faint decoration which now comprises of two sub rectangular depressions set side by side in the centre. The sloping edge of the bezel may have transverse incised lines forming a border, just visible to the left (as shown in upper image). The ring fits Henig type XII.
