A disturbed hoard of 5 late roman silver coins; five siliquae found within 2.5m square, about 8-12 inches deep, dating between AD 355 to 402 and probably deposited between AD 395 and AD 430.
A further two coins were discovered in Dec 2022 - Feb 2023 and declared in 2023 as addenda (2023 T133). They fit into the same date range.

A scattered hoard of 66 Roman coins; 65 radiates and 1 nummus recovered by 14 members of a metal detecting group during an organised outing.
The coins recovered from Finders 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 are from within an area of about 10m square which was cordoned off to prevent other finders searching that area. The coins are mainly from one end of that area. The other finders' coins are from outside the area, but were all found within about 10m of it. All the coins were in the topsoil, but at varying depths.

The hoard consists of 88 base metal Roman coins, mostly of the denomination commonly referred to as a ‘nummus’. They are of varied appearance, mostly worn and many not legible.
The majority of the coins date to the period c. AD 348-361 under the House of Constantine and are mostly of the reverse type reading FEL(ix) TEMP(orum) REPARATIO which can be translated as ‘happy times are here again’ (‘Fel Temp’ on summary). Summary:
A hoard of 50 Roman coins (44 in the original find and 6 addenda), all silver denarii, and all minted in Rome. The earliest coins are those of Vespasian. The latest dated coin in the hoard was struck under Marcus Aurelius in AD 170 – 1 (cat. 42 / image 25; the coins of Faustina II are more broadly dated c. AD 161-176) suggesting the hoard was deposited in the latter half of Marcus Aurelius’s reign.

The Hoard contains of four Roman coins, silver denarii, of which one was fragmentary. The earliest coin dates to the reign of Domitian, the latest to the reign of Marcus Aurelius, TR P XXII = AD 167-168.

Circumstances of discovery
Found by [name redacted] with the aid of a metal detector, January 2009-June 2015. Perhaps a dozen more denarii were recovered over these years but as they came up so sporadically the finder did not realise they were part of a hoard and they were not kept. Another finder recovered a denarius of Sabina but likewise did not retain it. The residue presented here consists of one coin of Nerva and two of Hadrian.
