A copper alloy incomplete Roman headstud brooch, dating from AD 75 - 200. The wings are sub rectangular with a tubular housing for the missing axis bar behind the head, and with a slot for the missing hinged pin. The front of the wings are decorated with an inward pointing triangular cell filled with red enamel at the outer end of each wing. This is flanked on both wings by triangular cells of blue enamel. A copper alloy Roman buckle dating from AD 43 - 410. It has an oval frame with internal projections on either side of the pin and a plain outer edge. There is an incomplete integral spacer, slotted to accomodate the pin, with a bar near the frame round which the thick copper alloy sheet pin is looped. The sides of the spacer taper away from the frame, so the plate may have been triangular.
