Lead contemporary copy of a radiate coin of Tetricus I (271-4), [?LAETITIA AVG]G; Laetitia left. c.f Normanby 1515-6. This is one of three lead radiates found in close proximity, suggesting a forger's workshop - see WMID-6CA246 and WMID-1EBA70. This coin has been kindly donated to the British Museum, along with WMID-1EBA70, by Mr Steve Wright and the landowner, Mrs K Dill.

Contemporary copy cliche coin of Tetricus I (271-4), reverse type unclear. It is a mystery why someone went through the effort of copying a base metal coin in this way. Cliche coins are normally made of precious metals (gold and silver). This is unique and of great interest.
