Fragment from the bezel of a copper alloy finger ring. Flattened D section with a recess, now empty, for a gem. The setting was surrounded by a ring of circular punch marks and there was a line of similar punch marks across the width of the hoop. These were separated by a panel which contained motifs which cannot now be interpreted. It appears that there were circumferential rings of punch marks around the hoop.

Around the outer edge of the bezel is line of close-set triangular impressions and the field bears what appear to be a row of incised V impressions. The ring has suffered much loss of surface with only the gilt face of the bezel surviving along with what must have been an incised line around its sides. The hoop is broken and bent.
