Copper alloy brooch of Roman 'Dolphin' type, hinged mechanism. D sectioned bow with two longitudinal ribs. Head formed by rolling thin metal flanges around to form a tube marked by a longitudinal joint. Pin cut from sheet metal with a small plate, perforated to accept the axial bar. The end of each of the wings is marked by transverse mouldings giving a bead and reel effect. Both the pin and foot are truncated. The surface appears silvered. Length 22.8mm, Width 24.0mm, Height 9.2mm, Mass 5.13g.

Roman copper alloy brooch of 'T' type, bow keeled with a rib, marked by transverse notches, running down its length. There is a triangular opening in the catch plate the edge of which is marked by two transverse notches. The wings, either side of the brooch's head, are cylindrical and marked by circumferencial grooves at each end. The pin is of the self-tensioned hinge type, only part of the pin survives. Length 47.5mm, Width 23.6mm, Mass 9.34g.

Sherd from a Romano-British greyware jar, body shouldered with a slightly everted rim, now missing. The surviving fragment suggests an original diameter of c. 170mm although this may be an over estimate. The fabric is reduced with a dark grey core and a light grey exterior. A sandy filler has been used, this is fine, sparce, with angular grains. There are some large, angular, flints up to 4.0mm long. Width 31.0mm, Height 42.0mm, Thickness 6.0mm, Mass 13.2g
