Roman, c.AD 50-200, copper alloy brooch of Colchester derivative, hinged form: McKreth's Colchester Derivative, Hinged, Type 5k, (2011, 88, Plate 58). Plain D sectioned bow with a hollowed underside. Wings folded around to form a tube holding the bar on which a hinged pin was articulated. Length 47.0mm Width 26.6mm, Height 18.7mm, Mass 11.25g. .

Romano-British colour coated sherd with applied, trailed, decoration. The decoration was applied using a white clay, laid on a black slip covering the outer face of the sherd. The inner face is reddish brown and the interior of the fabric is pink, with sparce, angular, fine (c. 0.2mm), glossy black inclusions. The sherd is Roman and comes from a colour coated beaker of probable third century date. 26 x 20mm x 3.0mm thick, Mass 2.06g.

Late Iron Age or Roman strap slider, copper alloy and consisting of a trapezoid plate with raised tapezoid panel on its face. This panel bears an incised 'circled tricorn' motif, no enamel is present. On the underside of the plate is a transverse bar, 15.6 x 4.8mm x 3.0mm thick. This is linked to the plate by two vertical bars to produce a 7.5mm opening for the strap. This object bears Celtic type decoration and could date from the late Iron Age or the Roman period. Roman finger ring, copper alloy, only the bezel survives; this is rectangular 11.8 x 11.0mm, with a 8.8 x 8.8 x 1.0mm deep central recess. This contains traces of sheet metal, now black, probably silver. A small raised area suggestis a sheet metal setting. The hoop appears to have been broad and thin and the underside of the bezel bears transverse file marks. Roman, Length 19.0mm, Width 11.6mm, Thickness 1.6mm, Mass 1.60g.

Roman, copper alloy, dolphin type brooch, first century AD, condition poor with much loss of detail, There appears to have been a groove down the back of the bow which terminated in the characteristic humped projection. Either side of this are the two wings, which are undecorated and have a hollowed underside to accomodate the spring. Both the pin and the catch plate are missing.
