Roman, copper alloy brooch of trumpetl type, 1st -2nd century AD. The brooch is in poor condition and lacks its foot, details are obscured by corrosion. The bow bore multiple mouldings set either side of a double calyx link moulding. The head has the eponymous 'trumpet' shape and bears mouldings, the details of which are unclear, on its underside is a ring-like lug by which the pin mechanism was attached. Length 31.4mm, Width 10.5mm, Height 16.2mm, Mass 5.88g.

Roman, copper alloy brooch of trumpetl type, 1st -2nd century AD. The brooch is complete but for its pin and sping, the bow bears multiple transverse mouldings set either side of a double calyx link moulding. The foot terminates in a small moulding and a button. The head has the eponymous 'trumpet' shape and, on its underside is a ring-like lug by which the pin mechanism was attached. The catch-plate is in the form of a large web. Length 46.7mm, Width 13.2mm, Height 24.0mm, Mass 12.58g.

Roman, copper alloy brooch of Polden Hill type, 1st to 2nd century AD. The brooch is complete but for its pin, the bow is broad and decorated with two longitudinal ribs with two notched ribs down each side. The foot terminates in a simple button. The underside of the two wings is hollowed to accomodate the coiled spring. This is held in place by a bar which passes through holes through two plates at the ends of the wings. There is a small projection on the end of the head. Length 43mm, Width 21.7mm, Height 15.2mm, Mass 13.47g.

Cast copper alloy figurine of a fish of probable Roman date. The fish is carefully executed with clearly marked features: the eyes are large, represented by a 3.2mm diameter x 1.4mm deep hole in which there is a smaller central cavity. Around the eyes are annular recesses which appear to the been divided by radial ribs. It is possible that the eyes were decorated with enamel inlay. Behind the eye are curved double grooves defining a rib marking the gill cover. Further lines in front of the eyes sweep around to converge on the top of the head. Cast copper alloy Roman brooch of Polden Hill type, Mackreth 2011, Chapter 3, Part 3, CD PH 4.d., A.D 75-150. Between two vertical ridges on the upper bow is a panel of stamp impressions. The wings are separated from the bow by two raised, circular panels, the wings are semi-circular and hollow with circular plates at each end through which are holes for the axial pin. Length 55.7mm, Width 26.2mm, Height 18.6mm, Mass 14.40g.
