An unidentified cast copper-alloy shaft-like object, possibly Roman, with an oval cross-section, tapering at both ends and with a definite thickening at the middle. The object is a long curvilinear cylinder, near-ovoid in cross-section, one end of which is clearly an old break and the other is possibly a zoomorphic head. Five rings are arranged serially behind it across the deepest curved section. A knop, possibly also zoomorphic but most likely foliate, projects out above a depression.
