Cast copper-alloy toilet implement of Roman date, c. AD 40-400. The item is rectangular in section ad tapers from a point at one end to a flattened 'chisel' terminal at the other. The item is now bent of of shape but was likely straight. The patina is worn and rough and the colour is a dark green. Length: 46.2 mm Width: 8.7 mm Thickness: 2 mm Weight: 5.1 g
