A small assemblage of ceramic sherds (2) dating to the later Roman period, c. 100-350 AD. Both pieces are body sherds of Nene Valley colour coated ware, demonstrating orange internal fabrics covered with black slip. One of the sherds demonstrates rouletted 'feathered' decoration on its outer face, the other being undecorated. Both quite weathered and much of the slip eroded away. Combined weight: 11.45g.

An incomplete, worn and heavily corroded cast copper-alloy bow brooch of Colchester derivative rearhook type, dating c. 43-65 AD. The foot, catchplate and pin are missing-the rest of the brooch surviving intact. It has a semi-circular sectioned winged head (the wings undecorated), at the middle of which on its reverse face are the remains of a rearward-facing hook. The bow is 'D' shaped in section and heavily concreted, curving in profile before truncating in old damage. Preserved in rather poor condition with an uneven brownish patina, it survives to a length of 20.35mm, 19.41mm wide…
