Fragment of Roman copper alloy armlet dating to the period c. AD 250- 409. Rectangular strip bent into a loop with an old break at either end, one of which is twisted. The exterior face exhibits a panel of moulded transverse crenelations.

Incomplete Roman copper alloy bracelet or armlet with multiple motifs, dating to the period c. AD 250 - 409. A rectangular-sectioned bar of copper alloy curved along its length; it exhibits a jagged break at one end and tapers into a hook at the other which terminates in an old break. The outer face exhibits engraved decoration in the form of a longitudinal groove, with three transverse grooves at the point at which it tapers into the hook.

Incomplete Roman copper alloy bracelet or armlet with multiple motifs, dating to the period c. AD 250 - 409. A rectangular strip of copper alloy now bent out of shape. It exhibits a jagged break at one end and tapers into a hook at the other, the point broken off. The outer face exhibits engraved decoration comprising a series of horizontal nicks along each long edge. Just above the point at which it tapers into the hook are two pairs of parallel transverse grooves with a pair of diagonal grooves between them forming a reversed Z-shape.

Fragment of a Roman copper alloy zoomorphic bracelet dating to the period c. AD 200 - 409. The terminal is in the form of a snake's head, D-sectioned with a flat reverse. The remains of the loop project from the back of the head and taper to an old break. Traces of decoration remain, however, this is difficult to discern due to heavy surface abrasion.
Similar examples are discussed by Crummy (1983), p. 44, nos. 1711 & 1712.

Incomplete Roman copper alloy bracelet dating to the period c. AD 250 - 409. At one end is a flat pierced terminal with a projecting collared knop at the tip. The circular perforation is framed by four diagonal lines forming a lozenge. The bracelet tapers in width from 7.1mm to 5.1mm and expands in thickness from1.5mm to 2.2mm from the terminal to the break point. Complete Roman copper alloy wide-cuff bracelet or armlet dating to the period c. AD 43 - 100. It consists of a flat, rectangular strip, originally bent into a penannular form, but now bent out of shape. Each terminal exhibits three punched double-teardrops, each with three pellets in the centre, bordered above and below by a sunken horizontal cabled ridge. The band is decorated by a central groove bordered by a ridge on either side and in turn bordered by a sunken cabled ridge. Fragment of a Roman copper alloy bracelet dating to the period c. AD 250 - 409. Copper alloy strip with an old break at one end and expanding slightly from a width of 4.1mm along its length to 7.1mm at the terminal. The decorative scheme runs as follows: from the break to approximately halfway along the extant length is an engraved longitudinal line terminating in an engraved transverse groove followed by a dot, a second transverse groove, a second dot and a third transverse groove below which is a zig zag formed of punched dots with engraved dashes in the angles.

Fragment of a Roman copper alloy three-strand cable-twisted bracelet terminating in an old berak at either end. The strands are flat and rectangular in cross-section, each measuring c. 3.2mm in width and 2.2mm in thickness.
Crummy (1983, p. 38-39, fig. 41, no. 1628) discusses a similar example recovered from a late 3rd - 4th century deposit.
Extant diameter: 54.2mm, width: 7.2, thickness: 6mm, weight: 16.4g.

Incomplete Roman copper alloy bracelet dating to the period c. AD 200 - 409. The fragment comprises one terminal, the edge indented with a series of punched dots. This is followed by two transverse ridges, a stamped ring-and-dot motif followed by a single transverse ridge, a central rectangular panel engraved with cross-hatched grooves, a single transverse ridge and a second ring-and-dot motif. The fragment tapers slightly along its length from 8.8mm to 7.1mm and terminates in an old break.

Fragment of a Roman to Early Saxon copper alloy bracelet dating to the period c. AD 320 - 450. A D-sectioned strip of copper alloy, smooth on the reverse and decorated on the obverse with multiple motifs comprising a central field with five punched dots arranged in a line flanked on either side by toothed edges. At either end of the field is a ridge followed by an undecorated field. The bracelet terminates in a worn break at either end.
