An incomplete copper-alloy Finger Ring of Roman date (AD 43-200). The object is composed of an oval hoop which is D-shaped in section and expands to wide shoulders and narrows toward the hoop. The object is broken at the lower portion of each shoulder with an old and abraded break. There is an ovate cell in the centre of the retained portion which would have formed the bezel and would have held an intaglio, probably composed of glass.
