A complete, Roman, silver, crescentic pendant, AD.43-450. The object comprises a crescent shaped pendant with an attached silver loop. The crescent is slightly chamfered outwards and sharply beveled on the inner edge of the lunate. The 'horns' of the crescent curve to a point of almost touching, some 4.5mm apart and the central hole is 10.5mm in diameter. The loop is wide, 5.4mm across and has a cylindrical diameter, of 5.4mm. A complete silver Roman finger ring of Brancaster type, dating to the 4th - 5th Century, AD.300 - 450. The ring has a square bezel with an ovoid band that is flattened on the inside. The bezel depicts a bird with a crescent above and below it. On the shoulders of the ring there is incised decoration in the form of short curved lines that are arranged much like acanthus leaves on a column.
