A Roman stone die dating from AD 50-410. The die is cuboid and each value is marked by a ring and dot design, which range from 1 to 6. Opposite sides add up to 7. The die has a polished surface with faint vertical groves on each face. This die is Potter variant 14 (Finds Research Group 700-1700, Datasheet 23, Dice by Geoff Egan).

An incomplete Roman bone hair pin dating AD 50 - 250. The hair pin is a Greep type A2.2 and Crummy type 2. The hair pin has a small pointed head with two incised grooves cut just below forming a collar. The shaft is a straight, the pin looks to have been shortented to a rounded end.
Similar hairpins on the database are LON-CDD33A, LON-68D0FE and LON-5225DD.

A complete Roman bone gaming counter dating from AD 200-410. The counter is a plano-convex with a slightly sunk hole in the centre. Similar counters can be found in Crummy (1995: Nos. 2281), and in Kenyon (1948:226-227). Kenyon type D, they seem to have been produced throughout the Roman period but Keynon writes that use of type D counters "increased in popularity in the later periods."

A Roman copper alloy coiled or 'spiral' finger ring dating AD 50-410. This finger ring is made from a strip of copper alloy with a D-shaped cross section, that is coiled with three turns. The ends of the strip are cut to form points.

A body sherd fragment from a Roman Gaulish samian ware hemispherical bowl dating from AD 100-200. Form Dragendorff 37. The sherd has moulded decoration, consisting of a gladiator right, bird above left and foliate motif all under a band ovolo with pelleted border. The fragment has a pink fabric and is coated in a red slip on both the inside and outside which is heavily abraded with most of the slip worn away from the high points of the moulded decoration.

A body base fragment from a Roman Gaulish samian ware dish or bowl dating from AD 100-200. The sherd consists a section of the vessel lower wall and the foot-ring. The sherd has a chamfered foot ring base. In the centre of the upper surface of the base is a maker's stamp of a rosette with 12 petals. de la Bedoyere (1988:12 fig 5) shows a similar stamp.

A complete Roman bone gaming counter dating from AD 50-410. The counter is decorated with four shallow concentric rings on the upper surface, the reverse has a scratched star. This decoration was possibly produced through turning on a lathe. The edges are bevelled outwards. Similar counter can be found in Crummy (1995: Nos. 2271), and in MacGregor (1985: pg132-133). Kenyon type B.1, they seem to have been produced throughout the Roman period with little variation.
