An incomplete Roman copper alloy Headstud type brooch, dating from AD 75-200. The brooch has a T-shaped head with short wings and an integral loop, only part of which remains. Makreth (2011:) writes " cast-on loop, frequently on an integral pedistal Headstud brooches are described by Hattat (1989:80) as the last of the native British derivatives of the Colchester type.
