Description;The terret ring is incomplete with both the loop and skirted fitting heavily worn and broken in antiquity. The upper loop is incomplete, with roughly the lower third remaining, he base of the loop expands in width and sits on an integral skirt. The skirt on such terret rings are normally lozenge shape in plan with the two terminal corners being upturned, and the side corners are downturned. Description: The object has a roughly hourglass shape in plan, with wide terminals and middle with fluting between.
