A fragment of late Roman silver strip bracelet c.AD 375-425.
Description: The fragment represents the terminal end of a hooked clasped bracelet. It consists of a roughly rectangular band which narrowing to the hooked terminal of clasp. The clasp is heavily worn, incomplete and bends down at an angle before levelling out again creating a dog leg. The band is decorated on its upper face with three bands of horizontal decoration starting from just after the band narrows to the clasp. An incomplete and worn of a late Roman copper-alloy bracelet of strip type.
Description: The fragment represents roughly a third of the bracelet with a flattened oval cross-section, thinning towards the extremes. One end terminates in a break, at the other an attachment survives - this consists of a rectangular hole in the middle with a slight hook at one end - suggesting a type of hook-clasp attachment. An incomplete Roman copper alloy double-stranded, cable-twisted bracelet dating to the late Roman to Early-Medieval Period. c.AD 200-500.
Description: About half the bracelet remains and is formed from two tightly twisted oval sectioned strands. One end terminates in an old break the other in a hook for fastening. The bracelet is heavily distorted and patinated a mid-light green colour.
Measurements: 54.66mm long, 52.01mm wide, 4.12mm thick (at thickest) and 8.58g in weight.

A highly worn fragment of sheet metal copper-alloy Roman wide-cuff, penannular bracelet, possibly a military armilla, c. AD 43-100.
Description: The fragment is a folded strip of copper-alloy with a terminal with rounded corners. It has two parallel lines of chased triangles along its length close to the edge of the bracelet. The edges have been highly abraded and the snapped end is uneven. The fragment is a mid turquoise-green colour typical of patinated copper-alloy. Much of the decoration of this object is highly worn.

Fragment of copper-alloy bracelet likely late Roman in date, c.250-410AD
Description:
The fragment remains as a narrow flat band broken at one end. The convex display face bears decoration comprising of alternate bands of blank and incised hashed panels. The complete end has a very slight flick to it. The bangle has been slightly flattened out which is not unusual for these fragments. It is a very dark brown colour possibly suggesting a high tin content or coating.

Copper alloy bracelet or bangle fragment of likely roman date. Narrow D-sectioned band fragment, neither terminal is orignal and are relatively clean breaks. The entire fragment is twisted. No decoration is present. The fragment is a very dark grey/black colour indicating that the copper-alloy used has a high tin content. Dating of these undecorated bangles is dificult and may have some overlap with the early medieval period. A number of roman examples are presented by Nina Crummy (1983, 38, #1640-1651).
