An incomplete cast early Roman copper-alloy miniature brooch of Colchester derivative with a double-pierced lug, dating to c.AD 43-100. Description: The brooch is relatively small and has open semi-circular cross sectioned pair of wings under which the missing the spring and pin would have sat. The wings are undecorated with a prominent double pierced lug between them at the base of the bow. No part of the spring, pin or securing bar remain.
