A fragment of a copper alloy Roman (AD 43-410) bracelet or armlet. It is D-shaped in cross-section with old breaks at either end and very slightly curved in profile. The inside surface is flat while the outside is decorated with alternating bands of transverse ridges and grooves and raised lozenges (three of the former and two of the latter). The raised diamonds have been formed by cutting triangular facets at each corner of a rectangular section. The fragment measures 40.1mm by 4.0mm by 1.3mm, and weighs 1.24g. It is similar to Crummy (1983) 40-41, 1659.

A copper alloy coil, consisting of five coils, and perhaps from a Roman sprung brooch. The coils are flat, c.3mm wide and 0.9mm thick. Each end coil tapers to c.1.4mm wide. The patina is smooth, shiny and a bright bluey-green in colour; patches are missing. It measures 14.9mm in length, 6.6mm wide, 1.6mm thick and weighs 1.04g.

A fragment of a Roman (AD 50-150) T-shaped (initial) brooch. It consists of the upper bow, wings, part of the head loop and roughly half of the pin only. The head has tubular wings (17.2mm wide) with a transverse incised line at either end. To the reverse is a notch for the pin, which is hinged on the still present copper alloy axis bar. The head of the pin is triangular in shape and the shank circular in cross-section (1.4mm diameter). The bow is 8.4mm wide and projects forwards at an angle before dropping vertically into the bow. An incomplete Roman (AD 100-200) copper alloy zoomorphic (hippocamphs) plate brooch of Mackreth 2011,Chapter 7, Part 3, OBJECT, Type 7.2. With enamel decoration. As the tail-end of the animal is missing it is difficult to determine if it is a hippocampus (half-horse, half-fish) rather than a horse, but the presence of tiny and apparently complete fins below the front portion of the body suggest it might be part-fish.
