A Roman (AD 50-150) copper alloy sprung Colchester derivative brooch, missing its spring and pin. Each wing is decorated with three longitudinal lines at the open end. The bow is decorated with a central raised rib and two transverse grooves above the foot.
Measures 40.75x21.15x14.95mm and weighs 6.81g.

An incomplete Roman (AD 43-410, though probably 100-300 century in date due to the use of enamel) copper alloy stud with enamel decoration, with a small tear in the head of the stud and much of the enamel decoration missing. It stands 6.72mm tall an the head measures 18.94mm in diameter. The stud weighs 2.01g.
The circular head has a down-turned rim, which Crummy (1981, p.116) suggests would have provided an extra grip on the surface, presumably leather, into which they were set. At the centre is a circular area, deeper than the rest of the head, with traces of red enamel at its cen…

An incomplete Roman (AD 50-150) copper alloy Dolphin (or Colchester Derivative) brooch with rearward hook, missing its spring mechanism and pin. The bow is bent slightly to one side. The brooch measures 73.70mm in length and weighs 20.75g.
The wings are C-shaped in cross-section (with a hollowed area for the spring) and span 30.33mm. They are decorated to the front with a pair of transverse grooves flanking either end and a diagonal groove extending from the bottom of these to the top of the bow.

An incomplete Roman copper alloy Hod Hill brooch (AD c.43-70) with middle side lugs, missing the wings, pin and the curl of the catchplate. It measures 36.41mm in length and weighs 3.22g.
The head, which survives to just below the wings, measures 13.14mm wide and the remains of the pin slot is apparent in the outside edge. Below the head is a transverse ridge 10.75mm in length. The bow below is rectangular in shape, with the knops projecting at the middle of the sides rather worn and almost missing.
