Fragment of Roman copper alloy necklet (or large armlet). It consists of the hook end (the tip of the hook is broken), which is rectangular in section, and expands into a roughly square-section twisted body. Both breaks are old. The necklet measures 121.9mm and weighs 33.54g. The hook end measures 4x2.7mm, expanding to 4.7x3.8mm at the start of the body, and expanding again (over 34.7mm) to 7x5.6mm at the start of the twist. Fragment of copper alloy and enamel Roman military belt plate. It consists of two ovals joined by a 2mm width of copper alloy. Another of these extends either side of the ovals, one breaking the other ending in a bar 13.6mm long, 1.2mm wide and 2.2mm thick. This has a tiny c.2x2mm (and perhaps broken?) projection extending from its other side. The ovals measure 13.6x8.3x2.6mm, with a rim c.1mm running around the edge. The oval nearest the bar is filled with a blue enamel, the other a rather more deteriorated red. The reverse of the ovals are rough, as though they may have been mounted…
