An incomplete tinned copper alloy Roman (AD 100-200) lozengiform plate brooch, missing the pin and most of the catch plate. Overall, it measures 39.20mm in length, 27.00mm in width and 8.15mm in thickness. It weighs 6.60g. There is some damage to the right edge and a perforation near the same edge which is a result damage. The top and left points of the lozenge are chamfered, which may also be the result of an old break. The plate has a raised border just inside its edge.
