Three lead vessel mends of uncertain date, possibly Roman given finds made in the vicinity. All three have waisted centres to accommodate the vessel wall, above and below which sub-circular tops and bases. The largest retains a small sherd of what may be a greyware. It measures 30 mm by 24 mm by 8.5 mm and weighs 39.65 g. A smaller repair may also retain a small piece of greyware. It measures 21 mm by 15 mm by 9 mm and weighs 15.36 g. No pottery is retained in the smallest repair. This measures 18 mm by 14.5 mm by 8 mm and weighs 7.65 g. Measurements: overall weight 62.66 g

A small cast copper-alloy fragment with enamelled decoration, probably of Roman date (c. AD 100-250). The object is now of irregular form, with breaks to all sides. It may have formed part of a (plate) brooch, though such an identification is by no means certain. The reverse is flat and undecorated, now slightly corroded. The front is decorated with very low relief moulded open pointed ovals, conceivably petals, that radiate from a former central point. A pair of copper-alloy tweezers possibly Roman in date, although a medieval date cannot be ruled out entirely. The tweezers are formed from a single piece of copper alloy, rectangular in cross-section. This has been folded over on itself at a defined loop to form a sprung end; the sides abut each other below the loop. They arms flare gradually along their length (4.1mm at the loop to 12.5mm at the tip) towards the tip. The arms are thinned at the gripping ends to create the nibs, both angled in at right angles. The metal has a dark-green patina which generally survives well.

A fragment from the attachment end of a copper-alloy late Roman artefact known as a 'nail-cleaner strap-end'; it could have been either or both. The fragment tapers from a flat attachment end to a waist with a pair of out-turned crescentic lugs back-to-back. A lid formed of thick lead sheet with oval domed centre of probably Roman date. The sheet has been cut broadly into a rectangular shape. It is thick at c. 3-4mm. The bezel is widened and flattened; the shoulders are also relatively wide before tapering to a thin hoop around half way down the sides (min. W.: 2.8mm).
