An incomplete Roman copper-alloy nummus of Magnus Maximus dating to the period AD 383 to 388 (Reece period 20). REPARATIO REIPVB type with a reverse depicting the Emperor raising a women to his left. Minted at Lyon. RIC IX, p. 49, no. 32(3) or 32(4); LRBC, p. 53, no. 380.
This coin has suffered two significant losses to its edge resulting in a loss of c. 20% of the flan.
