A pair of copper-alloy tweezers possibly Roman in date, although a medieval date cannot be ruled out entirely. The tweezers are formed from a single piece of copper alloy, rectangular in cross-section. This has been folded over on itself at a defined loop to form a sprung end; the sides abut each other below the loop. They arms flare gradually along their length (4.1mm at the loop to 12.5mm at the tip) towards the tip. The arms are thinned at the gripping ends to create the nibs, both angled in at right angles. The metal has a dark-green patina which generally survives well.

A damaged and incomplete cast copper-alloy mount, possibly a propeller shaped belt stiffener of late Roman date. The mount consists of a central circular element (diameter 16.4mm) flanked to one side by a sub-rectangular tab. There is a transverse break at the circumference of the roundel where a possible equivalent tab might have emerged. A lid formed of thick lead sheet with oval domed centre of probably Roman date. The sheet has been cut broadly into a rectangular shape. It is thick at c. 3-4mm. A large sub-oval dome has been formed at the centre from hammering from one side. It attains a height of c. 45mm and measures c. 200mm by max. width c. 125mm; one side tapers and it is c. 110mm at the narrower end. A copper-alloy finger-ring with integral key dating to the earlier Roman period. The hoop is broadly circular and D-shaped in cross-section, being flat internally (int. dia.: 17.2mm max.). There are no shoulders as such and the bezel is only slightly thicker than the hoop. The fragment is a flat oval in section with only slightly convex external and internal faces and rounded edges. The bezel is oval, thicker and wider than the hoop or shoulders and flat on top. An extremely corroded and incomplete probable finger-ring of Roman date. The object appears to consist of a thickened bezel of rectangular form, rounded at the top from the ends of which extend shoulders and hoop in a continuous curve. The hoop has broken around halfway down each side with the truncated remains abraded to a point on both sides. A complete Roman copper alloy finger ring with black glass intaglio. The bezel is widened and flattened; the shoulders are also relatively wide before tapering to a thin hoop around half way down the sides (min. W.: 2.8mm). There are some abrasions to the edges of the hoop and a recess formed through corrosion on the underside of the bezel. The bezel is very slightly raised in around the setting.
