An incomplete white metal coated copper-alloy Roman belt mount (strap-fitting) of 1st-century date. Around 30% of the original mount has been lost to old breaks, at one short end, but also the adjacent longer sides. At the other end, the short side is seemingly intact, with a raised transverse strip; the recessed reverse may have retained a separate rod. Three lead vessel mends of uncertain date, possibly Roman given finds made in the vicinity.
All three have waisted centres to accommodate the vessel wall, above and below which sub-circular tops and bases. The largest retains a small sherd of what may be a greyware. It measures 30 mm by 24 mm by 8.5 mm and weighs 39.65 g. A smaller repair may also retain a small piece of greyware. It measures 21 mm by 15 mm by 9 mm and weighs 15.36 g. No pottery is retained in the smallest repair. This measures 18 mm by 14.5 mm by 8 mm and weighs 7.65 g.
