ADVENTVS AV(ICIII or IIIII) reverse type depicting Carausius, draped, cuirassed, riding left, raising right hand and holding sceptre in left hand. Mint unclear. An irregular Roman silver-plate copper-alloy denarius copying Julia Soemias dating to the period AD 218-222 (Reece period 10). VENVS VICTRIX reverse type depciting Venus standing left holding patera in right hand and vertical sceptre in left. Mint uncertain. The VENVS VICTRIX type is not recorded for Julia Soemias, although it was for Julia Paula (RIC IV, pt 2, p. 46, no. 223). However, the Julia Paula coin has Venus holding a globe and sceptre. The type with patera and sceptre is more commonly found for Juno. Therefore, the forger has probably muddled his legends and types.

A broken Roman silver denarius of Severus Alexander dating to the period AD 222 to 228 (Reece period 11). VICTORIA AVG reverse type depicting Victory advancing left holding wreath and palm. Mint of Rome. RIC IV, PartII, p. 84;no. 180.
The break is old and in one area corresponding to the back of the neck and head on the obverse. It accounts for a loss of about 25% of the flan. It is not clear whether the break is deliberate.

A Roman base silver denarius of Plautilla dating to the period AD 202 to 205 (Reece period 10). VENVS VICTRIX type with a reverse depicting Venus bare to waist, standing left, holding apple and palm and resting left elbow on shield: at her feet left Cupid. Minted at Rome. RIC IV, part 1, no. 369.
Two small spots of copper-alloy corrosion product on the edge could be explained by the fact that denarii of this period only had about 50% silver.
