A cast copper alloy terret ring (harness ring / harness fitting) of Late Iron Age to Early Roman date circa BC 100 - AD 300. The terret comprises a sub-oval loop with an integrally cast sub-rectangular drop bar. The top of the terret hoop is the narrowest, this extends to the thicker opposing end of the hoop from which the lappet extends from either edge of the hoop. A fragment of a copper alloy, Roman bow brooch probably of Polden Hill type (c.AD75-AD175) or possibly a Trumpet brooch (c.AD75-AD175). The fragment is sub oval in plan. Due to its fragmentary nature it is problematic to assign a firm classification. It is broken at the head, therefore the spring, bow, pin, foot and catch plate are missing. Iron staining indicates the former position of the spring on the largest flat surface of the fragment. The object has a dark green patina. The fragment measures 16.6 mm in length, 11 mm in width and weighs 4.8 grams.

Probable Roman finger ring (1st to 4th century): Only the bezel and shoulders remain, the hoop is missing and the breaks are possibly recent. The bezel is oval in plan and has a large cell which contains a white paste. The edges of the cell are abraded and may have been deeper than it is now and the original setting is now missing. An umbonate plate brooch, of Roman dating (100 - 250 AD). The brooch is sub circular in plan, with three incomplete projecting knops protruding from the edge. The body of the brooch is domed in profile and this is decorated with a central circular cell surrounded by two concentric rings of triangular cells which originally would have held enamel. The inner and outer rings circle consists of 14 triangular cells each. A thin rim is present around the edge of the outermost circle. A complete Roman copper-alloy crescent type "Aesica" brooch of first century AD date, possibly dating to circa AD43-100. The brooch comprises an upper curved bow and a lower flat bow. The spring-case has a width of 16.4mm and diameter of 3.5mm. The spring consists of seven coils / turns with the external chord which lays over the top of the spring, and then passes through a pierced hole in the spring lug which holds it in place. An incomplete cast copper alloy trumpet brooch dating to c. AD 75 to 175. The head of the brooch is missing the wings and in plan is a horizontal oval. The upper edge has a trace of an integral perforated lug (headloop). The oval head tapers to a broken edge, the bow, terminal, foot, pin and catch plate are missing. The first section of the object curves and then narrows and twists terminating in a pointed tapered broken end. Possible functions may be a hook or it may be part of a bracelet. The object has a mid-dark green patina across its surface with traces of the original surface visible in places.In appearance and form it suggests a Roman date, circa AD43-410. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy Hod Hill brooch (AD43-75). Hattatt Class B (with side lugs). The top edge is stepped and is perforated with a copper pin that passes through the perforation rather than the pin being rolled in situ.
