A copper alloy Roman sestertius of Faustina Junior (AD 147-175) as Diva under the reign of Marcus Aurelius, dating to AD 176-180 (Reece period 8).
The coin is very fine and the obverse clearly shows the bust facing right, draped and veiled.
The obverse inscription reads: DIVAE FAVSTIN.AVG. [MATR CASTROR].
The reverse shows a funeral pyre with Faustina draped on the summit.
The reverse inscription reads [CONSECRATIO] S.C
