A cast copper alloy terret ring (harness ring / harness fitting) of Late Iron Age to Early Roman date circa BC 100 - AD 300. The terret comprises a sub-oval loop with an integrally cast sub-rectangular drop bar. The top of the terret hoop is the narrowest, this extends to the thicker opposing end of the hoop from which the lappet extends from either edge of the hoop.
