The remains of a copper alloy artefact, possibly part of a Roman Brooch. One end of the fragment is circular in cross section, this then tapers to a moulded collar and a rounded knop which is sub oval in plan. There is a horizontal line along the main body of the object which could possibly be where a catch plate was once attached. It has light green to brown uneven patina. The artefact measures 28.2mm in length, the maximum width is 7.9mm and the minimum is 4.5mm. It weighs 6.5 grams.

A fragment of a copper alloy, Roman bow brooch probably of Polden Hill type (c.AD75-AD175) or possibly a Trumpet brooch (c.AD75-AD175). The fragment is sub oval in plan. Due to its fragmentary nature it is problematic to assign a firm classification. It is broken at the head, therefore the spring, bow, pin, foot and catch plate are missing. Iron staining indicates the former position of the spring on the largest flat surface of the fragment. The object has a dark green patina. The fragment measures 16.6 mm in length, 11 mm in width and weighs 4.8 grams.
