Half of the rectangular main plate, along with the suspension bar, is missing (fresh break), but the surviving half is decorated with three horizontal zones of relief decoration bordered and separated by narrow flat-topped horizontal ridges. Three cast copper alloy Roman mounts or studs. The mount depicts a lions head and is the type used on burial caskets, generally dating from the 2nd century AD. There is the rusted remnants of an iron rivet on the reverse. Diameter 17.87mm, thickness 9.5mm, weight 3.53g. A parallel can be seen in M Cuddeford 1994, Identifying small metallic finds, page 34 and 41, no. 88. There is some patches of light green patina present and some areas of Iron (Fe.) staining.

A copper-alloy Polden Hill brooch dating from the 1st to 2nd century. The bow narrows towards the foot, which has a hollow triangular piece below the bow that curves to one side at the bottom to form the catch plate. The bow is oval in section by the foot and the foot is not pronounced but stops neatly in line with the edge of the catch plate. At the other end, the bow widens being semicircular in section, to form the head. The Pin is missing. A copper-alloy bow and fantail fibula brooch. There are two parallel grooves along the top of the bow. Patches of silvering survive on the head, bow headloop and foot. The triangular foot is decorated with what Mills, N. (see below) describes as a Celtic-style scroll pattern. The protruding areas of the tail decoration were silvered, and the depressions around them were originally enamelled in blue and red. Only small fragments of enamel survive. Part of a copper alloy double pierced lugged brooch. Only the spring to the right of the bow head survives, six coils are intact of what would have originally been a fourteen-coil spring. The spring is covered by plain curved semicircular wings decorated by a single longitudinal groove on the outer edge of the wing, 2.03mm from the edge.
