A Roman copper alloy denarius of Vespasian dating to AD 69-79, Reece period 4. It is likely that the coin is a contemporary cast forgery, with part of the casting spue still attached to the coin. The coin was also originally folded, with a fold running across the bust. The reverse is unclear, possibly depicting a figure seated. The coin has a dark green patina.
