Although Charles X died in 1590, the Ligueurs continued to coin in his name until 1598.

This legend on this coin is illegible. However it appears to be similar to a coin recorded from Ringwood, Hampshire which has been identified as a douzain of Pope Clement VIII struck for the Papal State of Comtat Venaissin at Avignon in 1594.
