An incomplete cast copper-alloy Post-Medieval double looped or 'spectacle' buckle dating c. AD1550-1650. The buckle consists of two ovoid loops with small lentoid knops at either end of the central strap bar. The loops are undecorated, but lightly bevelled with a flat back. An incomplete unusual copper-alloy double looped buckle frame. No clear parallels have been found for this buckle but double looped buckles are known to be decorated with a ring and dot pattern in the Post-Medieval broadly dating 1500 to 1700AD. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of probable Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1690 - 1750. The frame of the chape is described as "cooking pot shaped" (broadly trapezoidal in shape, curving corners. Two internal spikes project from the inner edge of the loop. The chape is a dark brown in colour, with an uneven patina. A buckle with a similar chape is illustrated in Whitehead (1996, p.103, no. 662). This type of chape is also illustrated as type V on page 96 (Whitehead, 1996). The frame is oval in shape and triangular in cross-section, the underside being flat and the outside edge to the front convex. An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date, c. AD 1500 - 1650. The buckle is a double-looped, D-shaped oval with a square sectioned strap bar. The pin no longer remains although there is evidence of an iron pin in the form of a patch of corrosion at one end of the strap bar. The reverse is flat and undecorated. The metal has a dark brown/green patina and is worn. The length is 20mm, the width is 19mm and the weight 1.47g.

Cast copper alloy 'S' shaped type buckle (fastener forming part of a sword belt fitting) with zoomorphic ends dating AD 1500-1700. One end depicts the head. The other end is closed representing the tail. The object is covered with mouldings to represent the scales. The length is 39mm, the width is 14mm and the weight 8.36g. A number of examples of this type of buckle can be found on the database;see for example references SWYOR-C95707, SWYOR-611CD0, BERK-0CD538 and BERK-8D39D6. Similar buckles are also illustrated in Bailey, Detector Finds 3, Greenlight Publishing, 1997, page 21.

A complete cast copper-alloy post-medieval shoe or knee buckle dating to the period AD c.1660-c.1720. The frame is sub-rectangular in plan, demonstrating moulded decoration around the strap-bar and outer/rear edges. In the centre of the frame is a triangular chape mounted on an internal spindle which is slightly damaged. Preserved in good condition, the object measures 25mm long, 21mm wide and weighs 3.01g. C.f with PAS DENO-7AE5C7 and a similar example in Whitehead, (2003), p. 99, no.616.
