Small copper alloy Button probably tombac dating 1700 to 1900AD. The button is constructed of flat pressed metal with a scar on the back where a separate iron loop has been lost but there are traces of corrosion. The front bears a series of what appear to be incised flowers. Similar to Fig. 9. 109 p.54 in terms of the back and small buttons on p. 75 in Bailey. G. 2004. Buttons and Fasteners 500BC-AD1840.Greenlight (Witham) Essex. The diameter is 14mm and the weight 2.17g.

Small circular cast cu-alloy weight, probably dating 1700 to 1900AD. The weight is circular with a wide raised rim on the top and an indented centre on the back. There are two pairs of incised concentric circles on the front. The weight was part of a 'nest of weights' and has a small rim around the upper surface in which a small weight would have fitted. The weight itself would have sat in the heavier weight underneath. The upper surface is stamped with two crowns and a castle and no initials. An incomplete post-Medieval sheet silver cuff link (c. 1662-c. 1700). Lewis form 1, type A. The pressed cuff link is circular in plan and the edges are down-turned (bevelled) at an angle of about 45° with some damage at the top. The rear faces is concave with an intact attachment loop. At the front, a raised design within a plain border is in the form of two hearts side by side with a crown above. The background is stippled. The surfaces are silvery grey and the front is worn. An incomplete and very worn Post-Medieval copper-alloy gilt dagger hilt fitting and guard, probably of 17th or 18th century date. Description: The hilt is roughly t-shaped in plan, the body is hollow and is rectangular cross-section. Both ends expand slightly and have flared rims; the bottom rectangular end has a shallower rim. The top rim is formed from a flat oval disc horizontally placed on top of the hilt. An incomplete Post Medieval copper alloy toy cannon, dating to the period c.AD 1750-1850. The cascabel has a globular knob and then expands into the first reinforce. The touch hole is flanked on either side by a circumferentially moulded band. There is a thick circumferentially moulded band in the centre of the cannon with the trunnion projecting on either side. A copper alloy double-looped oval buckle frame with a simple, narrowed, central bar dating to the Post-medieval period 1550 - 1650AD. The frame has cusped or serrated outer edges with trefoil motifs cast on low relief. The mouldings are located at either side of the strap bar and on the outer edge of each loop. The length is 51mm, the width is 31mm and the weight 9.58g. Whitehead (1996) illustrates a similar buckle on page 51, no.397, which is dated from c.1550-1650. A copper alloy double-looped shoe or girdle buckle frame, sub-rectangular in plan, with a simple, narrowed, central bar. The frame has squared ends with chamfered edges and abraded trefoil sides and has a flat base and a convex profile in cross-section. The strap bar terminals are flush with the rest of the frame. On similar examples of this buckle type, the bar often has a folded sheet copper-alloy plate with attachment stud to fix the buckle to a shoe or girdle, but on this example there is no plate. A complete copper alloy crotal bell dating to the period 1750-1850. The bell is complete and contains a small ball and there is possibly traces of a foundry mark now illegible.
