Description:  A complete Medieval to Post Medieval gilt silver hat badge (dress hook) dating to circa AD 1500-1550. It consists of a discoidal plate with recessed panel and separately made soldered S-shape hook projecting from the reverse. The S-shaped hook tapers into a point and is now flattened. The plate contains a border of two concentric circles of moulded twisted rope design. The interior has a recessed circular cell which would have carried incised decoration but is now very heavily worn and this cannot be discerned with clarity. Description: A complete gilded silver openwork eye-element of a two-piece hooked clasp or dress fastener. The object is very roughly D-shaped with a curved outer edge and straight inner edge. It is pierced with two longitudinally aligned rows of small circular holes flanking a moulded heart design in the centre of the outer face. Description: A fragment of a silver post-medieval bodkin. The surviving section of the main body is rectangular in cross-section and an hourglass-shaped terminal projects from its outer end. There is a rectangular hole extending inwards from behind the lower break and above this a solid section, either face of which is decorated with two incised transverse lines followed by an outwards facing V-shape.
