A complete gilded copper alloy post-medieval/modern furniture fitting. It consists of a rectangular plate with semi-circular indentations at each end of the longer sides. The outer end curves outwards slightly and is embellished with two v-shaped notches to either side of the centre. There is a small circular hole through the centre of this end. The inner end has a small cylindrical hinge extending from its centre. The edges of the outer face are bevelled and gilding is present on both faces. Description: A complete silver post-medieval cufflink. It is octagonal in shape with a convex outer face and concave reverse. The outer face is decorated with an engraved linear border around the outer edge and an engraved design consisting of small circle in the centre surrounded by four overlapping larger circles and a series of small dashes.
