A copper-alloy hooked mount, possibly a baldrick fitting dating to the seventeenth century AD. The mount comprises a D-sectioned body which is cruciform in plan. The body possesses a central circular perforation filled with iron corrosion products. On the underside of the body, there is a small circular depression surrounding this perforation. At one end, there extends a bifurcated terminal, at the other, a D-section hook which is bent back on itself. The mount measures 32mm in length, 14mm in width and 2mm in thickness.

A fragment of a lead figurine, probably a post-medieval toy. The fragment consists of the left-hand side of a human figure, made from hollow moulded (or possibly folded sheet) lead. The torso, left arm, hand and part of the upper leg of the figure are visible. The figure carries a staff in his left arm and a hunting horn or powder keg is slung across his torso. A horizontal ridge below the torso may represent the hem of a coat or jacket. The underside of the object is plain. Although it appears to be moulded, there are no identifiable features. A white pipe clay tobacco pipe, dating to the mid nineteenth century. The pipe is complete and does not appear to have been used. The stem is stamped with the words 'TENNANT & SON' and 'BERWICK'. The bowl is stamped with the initials 'TW' within an oval depression. There is a raised heart motif on one side of the bowl. The heart motif is decorated with cross hatching. The pipe has a small circular section spur. The bowl has a diameter of 23mm and a height of 42mm. The stem has a maximum diameter of 10mm. The pipe as a whole is 133mm in length.

A fragment of a pipe clay tobacco pipe, dating to the late seventeenth century. The fragment consists of the bowl and part of the stem. The bowl is bulbous in shape with a flat base. The flat base is stamped with a heart. Within the heart are the intials 'EC'. Below the initials is a small flower head. The stem is broken away in the area where it meets with the bowl. The interior of the stem is blackened demonstrating that the pipe was used. The maximum diameter of the bowl is 18mm; its length is 37mm. The bowl is similar in shape to those manufactured in Bristol in the period 1640-1670.

Cast solid copper-alloy end-cap from a knife handle, in the shape of an animal's head. The underside of the end-cap has a narrow slot for the tang. Within this slot there is a rectangular section strip of corroded iron work. The lower part of the end-cap, nearest to the end of the tang, is oval in section and this forms the neck of the animal. On the top of the head, at the back, is a depression which may have been intended to form the gap between two ears. A copper alloy buckle plate, dating to the seventeenth century. The buckle plate consists of two trapezoidal loops with a central hemispherical section bar - the central bar has iron corrosion adhering to it; one of the outer edges has two oval end knops and a triangular notched pin rest; the other outer edge finishes with two large circular knops on the end of winged extensions; between the winged extensions are a series of rounded mouldings. Fragment of an early post-medieval copper-alloy book-clasp. The fragment is thin, flat and approximately rectangular with slightly flared edges at one end. At this end, there are two rows of circular perforations; one of two perforations, the other of three. The clasp is also decorated here with a series of diagonal and vertical grooves. The underside is undecorated. The clasp has a brownish patina, characteristic of later medieval and post-medieval finds. It measures 47mm in length and has a maximum width of 23mm. The hooked tag comprises a flat, approximately oval plate with openwork decoration; this extends at one end to a rectangular attachment loop and at the other, to a D sectioned hook, the end of which is broken. An ivory? chess piece, thought by Dr Irving Finkel to be a nineteenth or twentieth century replica of BM78, one of the kings from the Lewis Chess set. The handle is narrow and straight and finishes in a bulbous terminal.It comprises of two copper alloy pieces with the iron tang and blade sandwiched between. Two copper alloy rivets hold the iron in place. The central part of the handle is decorated with diagonal grooves.
