A copper alloy post medieval hooked tag. The tag comprises an inverse triangular openwork body formed from D section bars. The bars are diagonally grooved. The points of the triangle are decorated with moulded decoration in the form of flowers. The body extends to a tapering trapezoidal section hook. The tag measures 27mm in length and a maximum of 15mm in width.

A copper alloy asymmetrical buckle plate dating to the late sixteenth or seventeenth centuries AD. The buckle plate is double looped. One loop is trapezoidal in shape. The outer edge of the trapezoidal loop has a series of rectangular mouldings. The other loop is D shaped and possesses two rounded knops on its outer edge. The pin bar is rectangular in section. There are small projections either side of the pin bar. There are file marks on the upper surface of the buckle plate. The buckle measures 23mm in length and 19mm in width.

A complete copper alloy early post medieval hooked tag. The tag comprises a flat oval body with openwork decoration intended to resemble a rose. At one end a trapezoidal attachment plate extends. At the other, an hemispherical section hook extends. The hooked tag measures 31mm in length and has a maximum width of 18mm.

A cast copper alloy knife handle probably dating to the seventeenth century AD. The handle is narrow and straight and finishes in a bulbous terminal.It comprises of two copper alloy pieces with the iron tang and blade sandwiched between. Two copper alloy rivets hold the iron in place. The central part of the handle is decorated with diagonal grooves.

Cast solid copper-alloy end-cap from a knife handle, in the shape of an animal's head. The underside of the end-cap has a narrow slot for the tang. Within this slot there is a rectangular section strip of corroded iron work. The lower part of the end-cap, nearest to the end of the tang, is oval in section and this forms the neck of the animal. On the top of the head, at the back, is a depression which may have been intended to form the gap between two ears. A copper alloy decorative stud, probably dating to the post medieval period. The stud is triangular in shape and has a D shaped section. At one end is a small rectangular extension. On the underside are two circular section tapering shanks. One measures approximately 4mm in length whilst the other, which is nearer the apex of the triangle is longer and is bent over. These shanks are characteristic of post medieval studs and fittings. The stud measures 28mm in length and 11mm in width.

The object is difficult to identify. It consists of a flat, roughly lozenge shaped piece of copper alloy. The copper alloy has been cast and whilst the underside of the object is plain, its upper surface has substantial raised and moulded decoration. At one end is a large lozenge shaped perforation. Above this are two raised spirals with central raised knobs and then an expansion which appears to represent a plume of feathers. The object appears to be damaged in the area of the spirals and the tip of the plume is no longer extant. The object measures 69.73mm in length, 53.7mm in width …
