An incomplete cast copper-alloy toggle-clasp from a sword belt hanger of Post-Medieval date. Part of the toggle plate survives intact, the toggle itself and corresponding clasp missing due to old breaks. It has a flat rectangular shaped plate with large central circular perforation with two small circular rivet holes to either side. The exterior edge is raised with moulding and incision decoration giving the appearance of corded decoration. This comprises a sun within a crowned shield, all within a beaded circular border. The entire object measures 11.15mm in length, 11.03mm in width, 2.15mm in thickness, and 1.63g in weight. This is probably an English coin weight for a French half ecu au soleil. This denomination was issued between 1475-1654 AD and suggests a similar date range for the current weight (Withers and Withers, 1995: pp. 39, 70).

A silver wire ring of Post-Medieval to Modern date. It is formed from five parallel strands of silver wire that are plaited to form the ring shape. Breaks in individual wires are visible in places. The surviving ring measures 17.75mm in external diameter, 3.76mm in thickness, and 1.12g in weight. This finger ring is of late Post-Medieval to Modern date, c.18th-20th centuries AD, and therefore does not qualify as Treasure under the terms of the Treasure Act.
