The coin is in good condition, although a set of parallel lines across the coin (obverse) suggests that the coin was at some point bent.

The matrix has a tri-lobed terminal with a knop at its apex and small projections at the side (one at each upper side of a lobe) and one at each side where it joins the shaft. It sits upon a raised collar of three bands which has a short hexagonal tapering shaft below. This expands to form an oval shaped matrix surface which is engraved with an armorial shield set in a beaded recessed border.
The arms are quartered and are 1st and 4th , on a chevron between three animals's heads erased, a mullet enclosed by two crescents; 2nd and 3rd, two bars.

Post Medieval silver gilt dress hook, 28mm long, 19mm wide and 7mm thick with a weight of 5.23grams.
The object is complete and consists of a sexfoil shaped plate. A circular sectioned shaft is soldered onto one edge of the reverse of the plate and this is folded back on itself and terminates in a sharp point. This sits below a rectangular shaped and cross sectioned plate, also soldered on, across the upper portion of the object.

Early post medieval copper alloy 'hook and eye' dress fastener, 34mm long, 27mm wide and 1mm thick with a weight of 4.10grams. The object is oval in form and rectangular in cross section. It has an incomplete rectangular projection at one end, which would have been curved at the end to form a hook. This sits above a slight collar with an incised line below it. There is a small triangular projection with a circular hole at each side, just below this. Opposing the rectangular projection is the remains of a circular attachment loop.

Early post medieval lead alloy two part cloth seal, 21mm in diameter and 4mm thcik with a weight of 8.10grams. The object is circular in form and rectangular in cross section. It consists of two discs joined by a short rectangular bar. One face is decorated with a large letter A with a double V shaped bar, flanked by three pellets. This stands for the city of Augsburg, Germany. The other side has a 'pine cone' motif consisting of an oval with cross hatching with a trefoil motif at one end.

It is formed of two alternate motifs, the first is comma shaped with a rounded upper surface and is decorated with a series of linear depressions which curve around with the objects shape. late Med/post med silver vervel or possibly finger ring? 14mm in diameter, 4mm wide, 1mm thick and weighing 0.88grams. The object is incomplete, missing part of its loop. It has a rectangular section and its outer surface is decorated with five incised crosses. It has a sub rectangular bezel/attachment which is divided into four quadrants by linear depressions radiating from the centre, giving the impression of a clover leaf.

A gold Post-Medieval finger-ring with external relief decoration. The decoration consists of a delicate geometric design, which may have once held enamel. The interior of the finger-ring bears the inscription 'A FRENDES GYFT' in upper case.
Discussion: This finger-ring may have once held enamel, there are 3 similar examples in the British Museum's collection (1961.1202.130, 1961.1202.459 and 2003.0506.1), one of which still retains the original enamel (2003.0506.1).

The ring is in the form of two rings put together, a design echoed by the inscription inside, which reads: + LIVE AND LOVE TOGETHER. Normally a short text like this would go right round the inside, but it has been deliberately split into two rows so that half the text appears on each half of the ring. Description: Post medieval gold finger ring, 19mm diameter and 4.5mm wide and weighing 1.96grams. The ring is decorated on the outer surface with a frieze showing a fox (?) being chased by a hound. This is flanked by scrolls and two horned devils. The circle is completed by a decorative sub rectangular motif. The internal surface of the ring is inscribed with IN TIME MAY I.
Discussion: The inscription is not recorded by Joan Evans but the use of capital letters and the fine renaissance style decoration suggests a date in the 16th or early 17th century.

Post medieval silver seal matrix 11mm long, 10mm wide and 5mm thick. The object is in fair condition, missing its suspension loop and weighs 1.27grams. The matrix is circular in form and sub triangular in section with a fluted hexagonal shaft, now incomplete. The seal is formed of a beaded border containing a hand, with a possible ruffed sleeve, holding a three flowered stem. The shape and the design suggest it is probably 17th century in date.

Post medieval gold and gemstone finger ring, 21mm in diameter, and weighing 4.65grams. The ring has a circular sectioned loop and an ovoid shaped bezel which holds a rectangular cut pink stone. The stone is held in place by irregular edged gold foil and is flanked by raised crescentric edging. The bezel sits above a recessed area of the loop flanked by sub rectangular shaped shoulder terminals which are decorated with a foliate design in a raised border. The whole of this area is picked out in niello.
