Post Medieval copper alloy buckle, 32mm long, 22mm wide and weighing 4.63g. The buckle is sub-rectangular in form and D shaped in cross section and is double looped. It has a central pin bar separating two sub circular loops. The buckle has small rounded projections at each end of the pin bar and two on each loop, at the outer 'corners' . The buckle is of a type dated to 1550-1650 in Whitehead, R. Buckles 1250-1800 p.63

At one end these merge into the main body where it is now broken. Just below this the ridges have linear depressions across the object, forming two collar like decorative motifs. Early Post Medieval silver gilt baluster spoon terminal, c.20mm long and c. 14mm in diameter. The spoon has a flat circular terminal which has been engraved with the initials W C or W I? and a possible animal? motif above. Below this the spoon narrows in width to a concentric recess then widens out to a rounded band, just narrower than the terminal before tapering in again. Below this is another concentric recess and a narrow, rounded band. Below this the spoon has a swollen oval shaped profile with incised rows of dots decorating it? at which point it is broken.

The ring has a D shaped cross section and its outer edge is decorated with two solid raised borders ae each edge and in between this is a rounded surface. This has a series of four sub spherical motifs, each divided by two transverse linear depressions. Between these is a plain section of equal length which has a small six pointed star in a circular depression at the centre. The ring is similar HAMP355, which has a date range of 1650-1750 assigned to it.

Post medieval silver gilt finger ring, 29mm long, 4mm wide and 1mm thick with a weight of 0.77g. The ring appears to be complete but the band has broken and is quite fragile. It has a slightly rounded outer surface and this is decorated all over with a series of raised diagonal bands, c.0.5mm wide, which have a row of three raised dots in between. The inner surface is flat and is engraved with the inscription BE MINDFVL OF ME, with the B right on the left broken edge (as shown in the photo). The style of lettering suggests a 17th C date.

Post Medieval copper alloy button, 16mm long, 11mm wide and 2mm thick (at shaft) with a weight of 2.74g. The button is formed of two components. the first is a sub triangular, rectangular cross sectioned loop with a circular hole in its centre. The second sits on this and is a solid, circular shaped, oval cross sectioned button, 11mm in diameter, which has a conical projection in the centre of its upper edge. The form matches fig.7.26/7.28 p.28 Buttons and fasterners, Bailey,G. all dating to 16th century.

Post Medieval copper alloy seal topped spoon handle, 41mm long, 4mm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 5.35g. The spoon handle is incomplete, has a plain circular cross sectioned shaft which terminates in a rounded collar sitting below an oval shaped 'baluster'. This sits below a circular shaped, sub triangular cross sectioned terminal, 12mm in diameter. Similar spoon handles include IOW-A24DBE and HESH-2FD627
