Post Medieval copper alloy buckle, 32mm long, 22mm wide and weighing 4.63g. The buckle is sub-rectangular in form and D shaped in cross section and is double looped. It has a central pin bar separating two sub circular loops. The buckle has small rounded projections at each end of the pin bar and two on each loop, at the outer 'corners' . The buckle is of a type dated to 1550-1650 in Whitehead, R. Buckles 1250-1800 p.63

Post medieval copper alloy buckle, 77mm long, 55mm wide and 2mm thick with a weight of 37.47grams. The buckle is rectangular in form and cross section and has a central strap bar. It is decorated with a double incised border with a foliate central pattern. In each corner the decoration is arranged so it cuts across the next side and each corner has a rounded depression which gives the impression of a rectangle formed by folding a decorated strip. Given its size its probably an elaborate hat or shoe buckle.

Post Medieval copper alloy buckle, 57mm long, 41mm wide and 3mm thick with a weight of 16.13grams. The buckle has a rectangular aperture but with a loosley octagonal shaped outer edge augmented by six, rounded projections, one in each corner and at each end of the central bar. The pin bar is intergral and has a folded rectangular cross sectioned pin attached. The reverse of the object is plain and the upper surface is decorated with raised spirals on the six projections, trefoils at each short end and joined by foliate swags. It is asymmetrical with one trapezoidal half and one D shaped half. It is decorated with moulded rosettes on its upper surface. It matches example 595, p.93 in Whitehead, R. Buckles.... .

It has an oval form and a D shaped section its surface is formed of a series of rounded protrusions. The object is probably a shoe buckle and dates to 1650-1720, being similar to No. 280 in Whitehead, R. Buckles.

The object is rectangular in form and consists of a circular sectioned L shaped frame, from which is attached two hinged rectangular arms. Post Medieval copper alloy buckle, 51mm long, 37mm wide and 2.5mm thick. The object is in good condition with agreen patina and weighs 12.12grams. The buckle is rectangular in form and section. It has flat circular protrusions at each corner and has three pronged, fleuer like, protrusions in the centre of each edge. There is an integral semi-circular sectioned pin bar in the centre and the pin rest is marked out with an incised line. The buckle dates to 1620-80 and matches fig. 529 in 'Buckles 1250-1800' by Whitehead, R.

Post medieval copper alloy buckle, 37mm long, 12mm wide and 3mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a brown patina and weighs 3.51grams. The object is oval in form and rectangular in section. There is an integral pin running across the centre of the oval loop and at one end there is a triangular shaped protrusion which has punched linear decoration. There is the base of a protrusion at the opposite side, suggesting this is a bird buckle and the triangle represents a tail (see No 275, P.48 in Whiteheads buckles 1250-1800).

Post Medieval copper alloy and silver shoe buckle, 24mm long, 20mm wide and 2mm thick. The object is in fair condition with a green patina and weighs 4.35 grams. The buckle is missing half of its loop and consists of a trapezoidal shaped loop which has three semi-circular protrusions on its outer edges. These are cut through by a linear incision running the length of the buckle. The tapering pin is intact and has a semi-circular section and is attached to the pin bar by being bent around it. The whole object is covered in traces of silver.
